Here is a quilt that I tackled for my husband and I. I got the idea for this design from Martha Stewart Living. You can find the inspiration here. The pillowcase on the right is my own creation. I used jeans of all types from the whole family. From Grandma's shirts and dresses, both Papa's old work jeans and any kind of outgrown worn out jean item from our closets and my sister's family...they are included here. It was quite and undertaking but proves to be quite warm, useful and a wonderful outcome to recycling!
Quilt I made for my Father-in-Law for Christmas a few years ago. All made from his old work jeans which included a few paint and grease spots along with holes in the knees. Adds character to the hard work he put into making it too. It is a rag style quilt with the flannel backing.
